Chemexcil opens regional office in state
For the first time in the world, three major industry
associations have come together to form a common electronic
trading platform for their members, said Suhrid Shah, CEO of
Ebizchem, here on Friday.
Ebizchem has tied up with three leading chemical
associations leading chemical associations Chemexcil, the
Dyestuffs Manufacturer's Association of India(DMAI) and
Anleshwar Indsutries(AIA)-for promotion of the trade
platform for the benefit of their members.
While Chemexcil trade zone was launched Saturday by Ebizchem
in partnership with Chemexcil, the largest chemical
association of India, the DMAI trade zone and AIA trade zone
would be launched soon, according to Shah.
Ebizchem was now in dialogue with nine chemical and related
associations and was expecting them to join the association
soon.
The Ebizchem database was 30,000 companies and one lake
Products. 'Ebizchem provided instant exchange of information
and communication as the portal was a virtual office with
backend solutions ensuring complete confidentiality between
you and the buyer", Shah said.
Chemexcil chairman Kishore Chokhnai said instead of just a
few trade fairs every year, Chemexcil members would now have
access to world buyers everyday.
Chemexcil, which has around 7000 members, was formed in 1963
by the commerce ministry to assist Indian chemical exporters
in the world market. During the last financial year,
Chemexcil exported around Rs. 17,693 corers and has an
ambitions target(for 2001-02) of Rs.21,000 crores, Chokhani
said, Since Indian chemicals are in demand we expect- a 20
percent export growth of Rs. 21,0000 crores, he added.
